1. Who we are

LearnLingo (learn.thedigitalmouth.com) is operated by TheDigitalMouth. This policy explains what information we collect when you use the site, why we collect it, and the choices you have.

2. Information we collect

When you create an account, we collect the information you provide, such as your name and email address. As you use the site, we collect usage information — for example, which lessons you complete, quiz results, and AI Tutor conversations — so the platform can track your progress and personalize your learning path. If the site's points/rewards feature is active for your account, we also store your points balance and rank.

If you subscribe to Premium, payment is currently handled by manual UPI transfer: you pay the UPI ID shown at checkout and then confirm your payment reference with us; Premium access is activated manually afterward. PayPal and Stripe exist as options in our registration system but are not currently turned on for this site. We do not automatically process or store your card or bank account details.

3. How we use your information

• To provide the course content, track your progress, and personalize recommendations.
• To operate the AI Tutor feature, which sends the messages you type to Google's Gemini AI service to generate responses.
• To process Premium subscription payments and manage your account.
• To communicate with you about your account, course updates, or support requests.
• To maintain the security and reliability of the platform.
• If you opt in to browser push notifications, to send you course-related updates.
• To track points, ranks, or rewards if the site's points/rewards feature is enabled for your account.

4. Third-party services

We rely on third-party services to operate LearnLingo: manual UPI payment handling for Premium subscriptions, Google's Gemini AI service (which powers the AI Tutor and processes the messages you send it), Google Analytics (which helps us understand how visitors use the site), and OneSignal, which delivers browser push notifications to visitors who opt in. These providers process the information necessary to perform their specific function and are bound by their own privacy terms.

5. Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, and understand how the site is used. We use Google Analytics, set up through Google's Site Kit plugin, to measure in aggregate how visitors find and use the site, such as pages viewed, approximate location, and device type; it sets cookies in your browser and sends this usage data to Google. You can opt out with Google's Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on (tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout) or by blocking cookies in your browser. You can control cookies through your browser settings, though some features may not work correctly if cookies are disabled.

We keep your account and course-progress information for as long as your account is active, or as needed to provide the service. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us.

7. Your choices

You can review and update your account information at any time from your account settings. You may also contact us to request a copy of your data or to have your account and associated data deleted.

8. Children

LearnLingo is intended for general audiences. If you are under 18, a parent or guardian should review this policy with you before you create an account.
