STAR तरीका: कहानी वाले सवालों के लिए
“कोई चुनौती बताइए” जैसे सवालों में 4 हिस्से रखें: S (Situation) स्थिति क्या थी, T (Task) आपकी ज़िम्मेदारी क्या थी, A (Action) आपने क्या किया, R (Result) नतीजा क्या रहा। इससे जवाब छोटा, साफ़ और असरदार बनता है।
14 सवाल, हिंदी अर्थ और सैंपल जवाब
1. Tell me about yourself.
- हिंदी अर्थ: अपने बारे में बताइए।
- Sample answer: “I’m a commerce graduate with two years of experience in customer support. I’m good at communication and solving problems quickly. Recently I helped my team reply to customers faster. Now I’m looking for a role where I can grow in sales.”
- टिप: 30-60 सेकंड में बोलें। क्रम रखें: अभी क्या करते हैं → पहले क्या किया → आगे क्या चाहते हैं।
2. Why do you want to work here?
- हिंदी अर्थ: आप यहाँ क्यों काम करना चाहते हैं?
- Sample answer: “I’ve followed your company’s work and I like your focus on customer service. I believe my skills can help the team, and I want to learn from experienced people here.”
- टिप: कंपनी के बारे में पहले से पढ़कर जाएँ, और उसकी एक खास बात का नाम लें।
3. What are your strengths?
- हिंदी अर्थ: आपकी ताकत क्या हैं?
- Sample answer: “My main strengths are teamwork and reliability. For example, during a busy month I stayed late to help my team finish a project on time.”
- टिप: 2 ताकतें चुनें और हर एक का एक छोटा उदाहरण दें।
4. What is your biggest weakness?
- हिंदी अर्थ: आपकी सबसे बड़ी कमज़ोरी क्या है?
- Sample answer: “I used to hesitate to speak up in meetings. I have been working on it by preparing my points beforehand, and now I share my ideas more confidently.”
- टिप: कोई असली लेकिन सुधरने वाली कमज़ोरी बताएँ, और साथ में बताएँ कि आप उस पर कैसे काम कर रहे हैं।
5. Why should we hire you?
- हिंदी अर्थ: हम आपको क्यों चुनें?
- Sample answer: “I have the skills this role needs, I learn quickly, and I take responsibility for my work. I am confident that I can add value from the first month.”
- टिप: आत्मविश्वास से बोलें, पर बड़बोले न बनें।
6. Where do you see yourself in five years?
- हिंदी अर्थ: आप 5 साल में खुद को कहाँ देखते हैं?
- Sample answer: “In five years, I want to grow into a role with more responsibility, and I hope to keep learning and contributing to the company’s goals.”
- टिप: उसी क्षेत्र की बात करें, और कंपनी के साथ बढ़ने की इच्छा दिखाएँ।
7. Why did you leave your last job?
- हिंदी अर्थ: आपने पिछली नौकरी क्यों छोड़ी?
- Sample answer: “I enjoyed my time there, but I’m looking for more learning opportunities and a bigger role. This position offers that.”
- टिप: पिछली कंपनी या अधिकारी की बुराई कभी न करें।
8. What is your expected salary?
- हिंदी अर्थ: आपकी अपेक्षित तनख़्वाह कितनी है?
- Sample answer: “Based on my experience and the market, I’m expecting a range of ___ to ___, but I’m open to discussion.”
- टिप: पहले से बाज़ार की जानकारी रखें, और एक सीमा (range) बताएँ।
9. Tell me about a challenge you faced.
- हिंदी अर्थ: कोई चुनौती बताइए जो आपने झेली।
- Sample answer: “Last year our team was about to miss a deadline because of a supplier delay. I was responsible for the delivery, so I contacted another supplier and reorganised the schedule. We delivered only two days late instead of a week.”

10. How do you handle pressure?
- हिंदी अर्थ: आप दबाव कैसे सँभालते हैं?
- Sample answer: “I make a list of priorities, break the work into small steps and take short breaks. This keeps me calm and focused.”
- टिप: अपनी असली आदत बताएँ, और उसका एक उदाहरण दें।
11. Are you willing to relocate or work in shifts?
- हिंदी अर्थ: क्या आप दूसरी जगह जाने या शिफ़्ट में काम करने को तैयार हैं?
- Sample answer: “Yes, I’m flexible. I would just like to understand the details of the role and the schedule.”
- टिप: सच बोलें। जो नहीं कर सकते उस पर नरमी से अपनी सीमा बताएँ।
12. When can you join?
- हिंदी अर्थ: आप कब से ज्वाइन कर सकते हैं?
- Sample answer: “I have a notice period of one month, but I can discuss an earlier joining date with my current employer.”
- टिप: अपनी नोटिस अवधि पहले से जान लें।
13. What do you know about our company?
- हिंदी अर्थ: आप हमारी कंपनी के बारे में क्या जानते हैं?
- Sample answer: “I know that your company works in ___ and has been growing in ___. I also read about your recent ___ and I found it interesting.”
- टिप: कंपनी की वेबसाइट और हाल की खबरें पढ़कर जाएँ।
14. Do you have any questions for us?
- हिंदी अर्थ: क्या आपका कोई सवाल है?
- Sample answer: “Yes, what does success look like in this role in the first three months?”
- टिप: हमेशा 1-2 सवाल पूछें। इससे दिलचस्पी दिखती है।

इंटरव्यू में ये 5 गलतियाँ न करें
- जवाब रटकर बोलना। शब्द रट लें, पर ढाँचे को अपने शब्दों में कहें।
- बहुत लंबा या बहुत छोटा जवाब। ज़्यादातर जवाब 30 से 60 सेकंड के ठीक रहते हैं।
- पिछली नौकरी की बुराई करना।
- सवाल न समझ आए तो चुप रहना। “Could you please repeat that?” कहना बिल्कुल ठीक है।
- अपनी तरफ़ से कोई सवाल न पूछना।

अक्सर पूछे जाने वाले सवाल
क्या इंटरव्यू में हिंदी और अंग्रेज़ी मिलाकर बोल सकते हैं?
यह कंपनी और पद पर निर्भर करता है। अगर इंटरव्यू अंग्रेज़ी में है, तो पूरी अंग्रेज़ी में जवाब देना बेहतर है। अटकने पर छोटे-छोटे वाक्य बोलें, लंबे वाक्य बनाने में गलती होती है।
इंटरव्यू की तैयारी में कितना समय लगता है?
आम सवालों के जवाब तैयार करने में एक से दो हफ़्ते रोज़ के अभ्यास से काफ़ी आत्मविश्वास आ जाता है। आईने के सामने या रिकॉर्ड करके 3 बार अभ्यास करें।
