The STAR method for story questions
For questions like “Tell me about a challenge”, use four parts: Situation (what was the situation), Task (what was your responsibility), Action (what you did) and Result (what happened). This keeps the answer short, clear and effective.

- Criticising your previous job.
- Staying silent if you do not understand. “Could you please repeat that?” is perfectly fine.
- Not asking any question yourself.

Frequently asked questions
Can I mix Hindi and English in an interview?
It depends on the company and the role. If the interview is in English, answering fully in English is better. When you get stuck, use short sentences; long sentences cause mistakes.
How long does interview preparation take?
One to two weeks of daily practice on common questions builds a lot of confidence. Practise three times in front of a mirror or while recording yourself.
