The biggest secret of speaking English is to speak a little every day. Reading grammar books does not make you fluent; you have to practise aloud. This guide gives English speaking practice: 30 everyday sentences with when to use them, 7 simple ways to improve, common mistakes and a 7-day practice plan.

5 rules before you start
- 15 minutes every day. That beats two hours once a week.
- Speak aloud. Reading silently does not loosen your tongue.
- Learn whole sentences, not single words, so you can use them directly in conversation.
- Record yourself. Listening back on your phone helps you catch mistakes.
- Do not fear mistakes. Improvement comes once the speaking habit exists.
